As this particular Disneyland Inter-Office Communication (aka "memo") from Bob Allen (1932 - 1987) had such a large distribution list, it was actually typed twice to allow for 12 copies to be generated, as follows. Harbor Gate (though some Disneylanders still remember it only as Harbor "House"). The top "copy" on form D-101 memo letterhead is the top TYPED copy (by Val Watson); while the second memo in the set contains the same text, but is a carbon copy as typed to provide for full distribution (copiers were not yet the common piece of office equipment that they are today). As RCA and Kodak were then the primary sponsors of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, both companies maintained an extensive use of Disneyland's sights and attractions in their advertising efforts throughout the 1960's. As for Bob Allen's history at Disneyland, in the park's early years he was placed in charge of operations for the Casey Jr.He also served as general manager of the Golden Horseshoe Saloon for a time and continued to move up the management ranks until he was assigned as general manager of the Celebrity Sports Center near Denver, Colorado.
